‘Polar bear hotel’ in China criticized for animal cruelty, reviews say

A resort in China with a polar bear viewing seen from its 21 rooms is facing criticism in excess of animal cruelty, according to experiences.
The news was to start with documented by Reuters on Saturday. The polar bear enclosure is portion of Harbin Polarland concept park found in Heilongjiang, and the lodge was entirely booked by way of its demo interval.
Animal welfare activists are criticizing the resort, claiming polar bears belong in the Arctic and not in lodges, zoos or glass containers in aquariums.
“Polar bears are lively for up to 18 hours a working day in character, roaming house ranges that can span hundreds of miles, wherever they love a authentic daily life,” Jason Baker, senior vice of the Individuals for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia, told Reuters.

According to The Guardian, a video displays the bears becoming photographed by crowds of company beneath harsh heat lights, in a area consisting of pretend rocks and icicles and a white painted floor.
Rooms variety from $290.10 to $351.56 per night.
Social media buyers are also criticizing the topic park’s latest emptiness solution. Twitter user @BeckyParkes5 shared a online video of an enclosed polar bear and was enraged with the hotel’s idea.
A spokeswoman for Harbin Polarland, Yang Liu, informed Reuters that the indoor space is only section of the bears’ whole enclosure, and that they are let outdoor when temperature and air high-quality permit.
