A resort in Japan characteristics in present-day Dezeen Weekly publication

1 min read

The hottest edition of our Dezeen Weekly e-newsletter involves a lodge in Japan designed by Sou Fujimoto Architects.

The Shiroiya Resort is positioned in Maebashi, Japan, and sits on the website of a former inn that hosted guests for over 300 a long time.

Sou Fujimoto Architects eliminated the original building’s internal floors and added a grassy hill containing cabins.

Audience imagine the end result is whimsical, with just one calling the resort a “fairytale with model”.
